We have the right to refuse any bookings.
ALL BOOKINGS are contracts and they are subject to the following terms & conditions.
Our 5% Cash discount offer runs from 1st May to 15th October every year.
We always ask for either Credit or Debit card details for security at the time of your booking. A verification fee of 1€ will be charged and this will be credited to your bill so there is no extra cost to you. Once this has been taken, your reservation is then confirmed. Without this information, we cannot reserve anything, and the slots become available again.
A booking is not confirmed until we have card details as security on that booking. Unfortunately sometimes there is a cross over with another booking in that we have recieved the others card details sooner. Bookings are always made on a first come first serve basis.
IF you cancel at late notice (less than 7 days) or a no show we will take full payment...

AS SOON AS CARD DETAILS ARE GIVEN THIS CONSTITUTES A CONTRACT AS PER THE CONDITIONS ON THIS PAGE.
We accept most credit or debit cards, we require the card number, the expiry date of the card and the last 3 digits on the back of the card.
Any deposits paid at the time of booking, are non refundable.
ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL PRIOR TO ANY ACTIVITIES, IF YOU HAVE CONSUMED ANY ALCOHOL 8 HOURS PRIOR TO YOUR TOUR THEN WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE ACTIVITY AND THE ACTIVITY WILL STILL HAVE TO BE PAID FOR.
WE WILL IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES TAKE A 1 EURO PAYMENT FROM YOUR CARD TO VERIFY THE AUTHENTICITY, THIS WILL THEN BE DEDUCTED FROM YOUR FINAL BILL.
We are entitled to charge for vehicle recovery/accident damage on tours in case of any accident or in case of the guide refusing to allow you to finish the activity because he considers that you are in danger or incapable of completing the activity, in all cases the activity still has to be paid for.Recovery will be charged accordingly.
Room Keys; If a guest departs the hotel with a Hotel room key and we do not receive the key back within 5 days there will be a minimum of 50€ to a maximum 125€ charge for Security Lock Replacement and this money will be taken from the card details supplied at the time of booking.
ANY DAMAGE discovered in the rooms once vacated will be paid for via the card held as security on the booking.

Reservations arriving after midnight, will be charged a supplement per hour.

Your health is your business, please ensure that you are in a healthy state prior to booking ANY activities as we will NOT be held responsible for any problems that arise because of known health problems that have not been disclosed to us, IF IN DOUBT PLEASE ask and we will always be happy to help with advice.
We may cancel your booking if we consider that you are too heavy to complete the activity safely, we will always try to get around this but consider it is your responsibility to mention this or ask questions prior to booking, all cancelled bookings must be paid for so it is in your interest to talk to us first. More relevant for Quad bike tours, Kayaking and climbing.
We may ask for a deposit when dealing with larger groups, this deposit is security against your booking and is non-refundable under any circumstances.
We now only offer a FREE minbus for Sunday Lunch and Events/Music Nights.
We no longer offer a free minibus for menu del dia and the free minibus is subject to availability as the minibuses are also used for our activities.
For free minibus bookings whether one person or 30 people, we do now take Credit/Debit card details to secure the booking. We do not take a deposit!!, This is due to the amount of let downs that we have had over the last couple of years.
If the group is a NO SHOW or LATE CANCELLATION, full payment for the event will be taken, no exceptions!
The latest we can accept cancellations for minibus bookings is 3 days prior to the booking date, this allows time for us to advertise to fill the space.
On evening events PICK up times will be given at the time of booking and the return time is 12.15 unless told otherwise.
Transport to and from La Mariposa is not a forgone conclusion, it must be arranged at the time of booking and will be subject to availability, demanding it the day before your booking will not work...sorry!
Any valuables left on our buses are done so entirely at the risk of our customers and please note that theft from our buses in NOT insured by us.
Cancellation Policy for Activitys or Accommodation.
You will be asked for credit or debit card details at the time of booking, this is NOT for pre-payment but for security against your booking. I.E. no show, late cancellations or damage to the equipment.
If we have to take payment for any reason because you have defaulted on our terms & conditions policy we are are happy to supply you with an official invoice for you to claim back the payment through your
If cancelled more than 7 days prior to your booking, then there is no charge. (If deposit is paid, this will be lost)
If cancelled between 7 and 5 days before your booking, then 50% of the amount due is payable.
If cancelled under 5 days before your booking or you do not turn up for your booking then 100% of the total booking amount is due and will be taken from the card details supplied at the time of booking. Also in case of accident/ vehicle recovery.
If the card payment fails we will send details to our legal department to deal with collecting the amount due, this will incur further costs to you.
IF WE CANCEL ACTIVITIES (For reasons I.E. not enough people to make it viable or because of harsh weather conditions etc, ETC); ALL DEPOSITS WILL BE RETURNED AND THERE WOULD BE NO CANCELLATION CHARGE:
If you have booked activities, and you turn up with less people mentioned, You will be charged for the amount you booked.
Example#1; If you book 8 people for quad biking, and only 5 turn up... The other 3 peoples will have to be paid for.
Example#2; If you book 6 people, 3 double quads and only 4 people, wanting 2 double quads arrive, the other 2 people are to be paid for.
If you are doing 2 activities in 1 day, with lunch inbetween. You may have to have your lunch in 2 parts.
IE - If you are doing quad, lunch and shooting. You may be required to do the quad tour, have bread and salad, starter and main meal. Then do the shooting and come back for dessert and coffee/tea. This is because of the time slots given for the activities.
All personal belongings are the responsibility of the owner at all times, this includes mobile phones, sunglasses and bags etc.
At no time do we accept responsibility for your belongings.
Cancellation policy for Multi Activities.
A 50€ deposit per person is all that is needed to secure the booking with full payment due around 2 weeks prior to the event or on arrival depending on what type of Activities are offered.
If the booking is cancelled within 28 days prior to your booking, then full payment will be taken off of the details supplies at the time of booking.
If you are booking a Multi Activity where a special quote is sent to you, for everything you require. The price quoted to you at the time of booking is for the amount of people in your group. If once booked, your group decreases in numbers, we will then send you a new quote for the amount of people in your group.
IMPORTANT: if we offer you a special deal because of the size of your group and then that group gets smaller then we have right to charge the normal amount as per this website and cancel the discount.
We are not responsible for anyone who books any of our events / hotel rooms / activities without seeing the cancellation policy first in other words do not enter into dialogue with us stating you did not see it as it is not in small print and is available to everyone.
We are a pet friendly hotel but we do expect owners to be responsible pet owners, any extra cleaning and any damaged will be charged to the card given as security at the time of booking.
